Peguera is a small holiday resort in Mallorca lying to the west of the
island’s capital, Palma de Mallorca. Peguera is popular with families and
older tourists. Many people come here from Germany. The prices are average,
Peguera is clean and the centre is a car-free zone. The beaches here are
exemplary. For all these reasons, Peguera is regularly voted the best
holiday resort on Mallorca by critics. Almost everyone working in the shops,
restaurants, bars and hotels in Peguera speaks German and English.

Behind the main beach is one of the nicest promenades of Mallorca. The beach
one kilometre west of Cala Fornells is recommended too.

Santa Ponca: A fast-growing holiday town not far from Peguera, which also
has an excellent beach. Most holidaymakers prefer Peguera, but Santa Ponca
has its fans too.
Bus connections to Peguera and Santa Ponca:

Ponca frequently with Palma de Mallorca. The faster bus is the #102. The

half the time. A one-way ticket to Palma is around €3
