Sa Pobla

Sa Pobla is a small town in Eastern Mallorca. The town itself does not offer much to the tourist. For that reason, Sa Pobla is relatively untouched. If you want to see a typical Balearic country town, go straigt to in Sa Pobla, which will devliver exactly that. The inhabitants live mainly from agriculture - the soil in the area is very fertile.

Sa Pobla is the final station in Palma to North-East Mallorca train line. Every hour, there is a narrow gauge to Palma de Mallorca (57 minutes, around €3). The centre of Sa Pobla is the square Placa Major by the church of St. Antoni (see picture above).
